§ 28-378. Standard for installation.

  • All wiring for an electrical installation of any kind, or for any purpose which also requires a building permit under chapter 109, shall be done in accordance with federal and state codes and in a reasonable manner with due regard to the safety and protection of life and property and in accordance with the approved standards. The rules recommended in the 2012 edition of the National Electrical Code as approved by the American Standards Association, a copy of which is on file in the office of the clerk, is adopted by this reference as the established, approved standards for electric wiring and installation of electrical apparatus to the same degree, force, and effect as if such rules and standards were set forth in full herein.
