§ 28-364. Electric utility established.

The city shall operate the electrical utility as now existing under the provisions of this article. The electric utility shall be subject to the sole and exclusive control and regulation of the council. At the first meeting following a regular election at which the newly elected council assumes office and commences its term, the mayor shall appoint two members of the council to act as an electric system committee and to have supervision over the electric utility, subject to the control of the entire council.
