§ 26-224. Notice of snow emergency.

Notice of a snow emergency and that parking is prohibited on snow routes shall be given the public by means of public service broadcasts or telecasts from stations with a normal operating range covering the city and by posting notices in city hall, the post office and the community building, and may be further announced in newspapers of general circulation when feasible. A parking prohibition so made shall not go into effect until at least one hour after it has been announced in accordance with this section. Termination of such a parking prohibition shall be effective immediately upon announcement in the same manner.
