§ 22-49. Swimming pool.

The council shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the city swimming pool.

(1)

Employees. The council may employ a manager to operate and maintain the swimming pool. The manager shall be responsible to the council for all activities at the swimming pool and recommend to the council any other employees necessary to operate and maintain the swimming pool. The council shall approve, modify, or disapprove the recommendations. The manager may be removed upon a two-thirds vote of the council. Other employees may be removed by the procedures established by resolution of the council.

Rules. The council shall, by resolution, adopt rules for the care and maintenance of the swimming pool and the use of the swimming pool by patrons. Rules affecting the use of the swimming pool by patrons shall be posted in a conspicuous place at or near the entrance to the swimming pool and other places designated by the council.
