§ 28-382. Entrance to premises.

  • The superintendent, the committee, authorized employees of the electric system, and such other persons as the council may from time to time designate by resolution shall be granted access to any premises to which electric service is provided by the electric system for the purposes of inspection, installation, repair, and the reading of meters. This access shall be granted at any time between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and at such other times as may be reasonable and necessary for the safe and efficient maintenance of electrical service. Consumers to whom service is provided, by acceptance of service shall be deemed to have consented to the provisions of this section, and this consent shall be deemed a condition precedent to the obligation of the electric system to commence or continue electric service.
