§ 28-55. Approval needed.

  • Before any person makes a connection with the public water system, the person must get approval from the clerk. The person must supply the clerk with information including a legal description of the property, the name of the property owner, the name and address of the person who will do the work, and the general uses of the water. No different or additional uses will be allowed except by permission of the clerk. The clerk shall notify the person to proceed, if the proposed work meets all the requirements of this article and if all fees required under this article have been paid. Work under any approval must be begun within six months after it is granted. The clerk may at any time revoke the approval for any violation of this article and require that the work be stopped.
