§ 26-255. Voluntary bicycle registration.

  • (a)

    A person who owns or operates a bicycle in the city may register the bicycle with the clerk. The clerk may issue a sticker or tag containing a number for identification purposes which may be affixed to the bicycle.

    (b)

    The council may establish a fee for the registration.

    (c)

    In the event a registered bicycle shall be sold or transferred, the sticker or tag shall pass to the new owner and the sale or transfer of the bicycle shall be reported to the clerk by the vendor or transferor within five days of the date of sale or transfer. (I.C.A. § 321.236[10])
