§ 26-222. Snow emergency declared.

  • Whenever the mayor or the mayor's designee finds, on the basis of falling snow, sleet or freezing rain, or on the basis of a forecast of snow, sleet or freezing rain, that weather conditions have created or are likely to create hazardous road conditions or road conditions impeding or likely to impede the free movement of fire, health, police, emergency or other vehicular traffic vital to the health, safety and welfare of the city, a snow emergency maybe declared.
