§ 26-75. Parking violations—Alternate.

Admitted violations of parking restrictions imposed by this code may be charged and collected upon a simple notice of a fine payable at the office of the clerk. The simple notice of a fine shall be in the amount as set by resolution of the council for all violations except handicapped and snow route parking violations. If such fine is not paid within 30 days, it shall be increased to an amount set by resolution of the council. Failure to pay the simple notice of a fine shall be grounds for filing of a complaint in district court as provided by chapter 804 of the Code of Iowa (I.C.A. ch. 804).
