§ 18-43. Junk, junk vehicles, and junk machinery a nuisance.

It is hereby declared that any junk, junk vehicle, junk machinery, or hobby vehicle located upon private property, unless excepted by section 18-44, constitutes a threat to the health and safety of the citizens and is a nuisance within the meaning of section 657.1 of the Code of Iowa (I.C.A. § 657.1) and section 18-1. If any junk, junk vehicle, junk machinery, or hobby vehicle is kept upon private property in violation hereof, the owner or person in control of the property upon which it is located shall be prima facie liable for said violation.
