§ 14-28. Library trustees.

The board of trustees of the library, hereinafter referred to as the board, consists of eight resident members and one non-resident member. All resident members are to be appointed by the mayor and approved by the council. The non-resident member shall be appointed by the mayor with approval of the county board of supervisors. The library board of trustees shall recommend persons to the mayor for appointment.
